The Library is quite powerful. For example, the Data Viewer will let you explore the dataset of your choice (for a demonstration, look at World Topography or Ocean Climatologies).
| Datasets by Category | - | provides a categorical listing of the datasets in the Data Library. A summary of each dataset is offered, including its spatial and temporal resolution, spatial and temporal limits, and a brief description. Those interested in learning more about the types of data that are typically used in climate research are encouraged to look at the Introduction to Climate Data, which describes a few of the more interesting datasets, and the Climate Information Digest , which uses the Data Library to monitor world climate. |

| Datasets by Source | - | is a complete list of datasets by local dataset name. |
| Dataset Searches | - | lets you do keyword searches through different sets of pages which describe the datasets. |
| Other Data | - | lets you read your own netCDF/HDF/CDF file. |
| Tutorial | - | an introduction to the structure, functions and language of the Data Library |

| Question and Answers | - | questions previously asked, with illustrated/linked answers. |
